I want to work in the further education sector
The three year Catalyst programme was launched in 2007 and aimed to support the further education (FE) sector to deliver exceptional teaching and training, backed by world-class leadership.
As part of this, two programmes - Make a Difference and Pass on Your Skills - have been running to attract and develop thousands of professionals like you, who have transferable skills and are interested in a career in the sector. You might have been redirected from one of those websites, as registration for both programmes is now closed.
As planned, both programmes will officially come to an end on 31 March 2010, but current work with our funders and partners hopes to extend some parts of the programme beyond this date.
We've also documented our support and advice and uploaded a number of resources here that can help you to:
- Find and apply to management and teaching roles in the sector
- Identify your transferrable skills and promote yourself as an attractive candidate
- Get to grips with the FE recruitment process, with tips for being successful at each stage of the process.
