The business case for equality and diversity is strong - good equality and diversity practice leads to benefits for all, including a wider talent pool of potential recruits, new and expanded markets, more committed workers, more creative and innovative service development.

Recent research findings give strong support to the business case for good practice in equality and diversity. The Leitch Review of Skills highlights the challenges in the UK workforce, changing demographics and changes in the make-up of the workforce, skills shortages and skills gaps in a fast developing global economy are challenges in all sectors.
