E-learning and e-leadership standards for the lifelong learning sector
Lifelong Learning UK is actively involved in the development of standards for electronic learning (e-learning) and electronic leadership (the leadership of e-learning).
The current standards were developed in 2005* for use by teachers, learning support practitioners and leaders.

* the standards were originally developed by the Further Education National Training Organisation (FENTO), and the Learning and Skills Development Agency (LSDA). In 2005, FENTO was subsumed into a sector skills council as Lifelong Learning UK. These standards will be updated in 2009.
