How to get involved
Stage 1 - Research - May & June 2009
The first stage of the project is now complete and a report into the findings is now available to download. Feedback was gathered from a wide range of sources, with a total of over 600 people engaging via an online survey and attendance at focus groups which gathered detailed input from a wide variety of interested parties. This was further supplemented by desk-based research on current Standards' development and use.
Stage 2 - Open Consultation - November & December 2009
The consultation stage was open from 16th November to 4th December 2009, and is now complete and seperate reports for the National Occupational Standards and Qualifications are available on request.
Stage 3 - Units of Assessment for Assessors and Quality Assurers - January-March 2010
Draft proposals for Qualifications and their Units of Assessment have been developed and have been tested during a consultation period between 15 and 26 February 2010. These Qualifications and Units of Assessment are for the QCF only - a further consultation will be held in Scotland post-April due to timescales involved within Scotland.
Future work - Qualifications for the Training role
Lifelong Learning UK is currently reviewing the findings of the research to date in order to develop an approach to taking this work forward. The approach will be detailed and made available on the Lifelong Learning UK website by the end of March 2010.
