Equality monitoring guidance - frequently asked questions

Equality monitoring helps employers make sure that they are meeting the needs of their staff and are not discriminating against them. These frequently asked questions explain why it is important to collect this information, and what employers can do with the information they receive.

This resource was prepared in response to providers' questions about equality and diversity monitoring, and shares information about evolving practice. They include questions asked at Lifelong Learning UK's recent 'Data Matters' events.
