Workforce Strategy Events
Lifelong Learning UK is holding a series of briefings in December 2008 and January and February 2009 to show how the Workforce Strategy and Implementation Plan can support further education organisations in delivering their goals. The events will be free of charge and will:
- provide information and an opportunity to feed in to the Workforce Strategy and Implementation Plan, ask questions and share solutions with peers
- provide relevant background and information on the existing Strategy and Implementation Plan; and have related questions answered
- encourage debate around relevant workforce issues and offer the opportunity to comment and contribute positively into the development of the Workforce Strategy and Implementation Plan going forward.
Who should attend and when?
The Workforce Strategy Breakfast Briefings are aimed at leaders, senior management and those responsible for the development of staff in the further education sector workforce. All the briefings are free to attend. Each briefing will be held at 08.30am until 10.30am. Breakfast and refreshments will be provided.
