The Pass on Your
Skills Practitioner Database
Employers - Terms and
Conditions of Participation
In return for the opportunity of participating in the
Pass on Your Skills Vocational Practitioner Database (the "Practitioner
Database") co-ordinated by Pass on Your Skills
("we" or "us"), you agree to the following Terms and
Conditions.

Application Rules
·
1.1 The Practitioner Database is open to you (the
"Employer") if you are a further education provider and would like to
access potential candidates for teaching vacancies.

1.2 Employers may take part in the Practitioner
Database for free.
·
1.3 All applications from Employers to take part
in the Practitioner Database must be made via our website by means of the
online registration form found at http://www.
·
1.4 Registrations from Employers are currently
being received for vacancies in the following skills categories: health &
social care and engineering. Registration opportunities for other skills
categories may be advertised from time to time at www.
·
1.5 Each application must be accompanied by the
following details of a contact person at the Employer: name; legal address;
valid email address and telephone number. Registrations without a valid email
address may not be accepted.

1.6 We accept no responsibility for any online
registration forms that are lost or delayed or which are unable to be sent due
to internet connection problems or for any other reason.

1.7 Applications must be received no later than
midnight on 19th December 2008..
·
1.8 We reserve the right to reject any
application at our absolute discretion.

Warranties
You warrant that:

2.1 You have authority to represent the Employer
on behalf of whom you make the registration to join the Practitioner Database;
·
2.2 Any information which you provide to us is
correct and complete at the time you provide it to us;
·
2.3 The Employer is genuinely interested in contacting
potential candidates as part of the Practitioner Database; and
·
2.4 The information you provide does not contain
content that could be construed as offensive, unlawful, derogatory or
defamatory.

General Terms
·
3.1 You consent to us holding data relating to
the Employer and sharing any or all such data for the purpose of putting you in
contact with potential candidates and for related purposes;
·
3.2 You shall be free to contact potential
candidates in whom you have interest about the possibility of employment,
including for the purposes of providing job specifications, application forms
and interview dates;
·
3.3 You agree to act and to procure that your
staff act at all times in a professional and courteous manner and shall not act
in any way that will or may bring the Practitioner Database into disrepute;
·
3.4 You agree to respond promptly to requests of
information on candidates and the Practitioner Database for the purpose of
evaluation.
·
3.5 You agree to respond promptly to potential
candidates upon receipt of an application form of whether or not the candidate
shall be invited to interview and upon interview of whether or not the
candidate shall be employed;
·
3.6 When communicating with us in relation to
specific potential candidates, you shall quote the unique reference number of
the relevant potential candidate;
·
3.7 We may ask for additional or updated
information about the Employer or seek your consent to edit or alter
information held about the Employer and you will promptly provide all such
information reasonably requested;
·
3.8 In the event that you employ potential
candidates through the Practitioner Database, we may publicise
the occupations and skills of employed candidates and the fact of employment
and, with their consent, their names and you shall use reasonable endeavours to procure such consent on our behalf;

3.9 You shall be responsible for providing any
training to potential candidates in relation to their employment with you and
shall cover any associated costs, including without limitation any costs
connected with obtaining Criminal Records Bureau or similar checks and you
acknowledge that we do not have any responsibilities to undertake any such
training or cover any such costs;

3.10 We acknowledge that any confidential data
relating to the Employer which is provided to us for the purpose of the
Practitioner Database will not be used by us for any unrelated purpose;

3.12 We shall be entitled to remove your details
from the Practitioner Database at any time and in our absolute discretion and
will notify you if we do;

3.13 We are not a recruitment agency but simply
facilitate introductions between potential employers and potential candidates
by providing a mutual information source. We therefore accept no responsibility
for any communications made by you or to you by potential candidates and do not
provide any assurance of any kind in relation to the quality, character or
qualifications of potential candidates or any assurance that your participation
in the Practitioner Database will lead to successful recruitment. It is a
condition of the Practitioner Database that you accept full responsibility for
every action and decision you undertake or make in relation to the Practitioner
Database;

3.14 We may (without giving any reason or notice)
terminate or suspend the Practitioner Database and may amend or update these
Terms and Conditions without consent or notice.
