New Scottish modern apprenticeship group formed

LLUK Scotland has formed a new working group to refresh the Scottish Modern Apprenticeship for Youth Work. The group will be examining the existing Modern Apprenticeship (MA) which is at SVQ level 3 and benchmarking it against the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework.
The group will also be investigating the potential for a new SVQ level 2 MA for youth work which would complement the existing level 3 MA.
The group includes employers from several local authorities and stakeholders from YouthLink Scotland; Scottish Qualifications Authority; Scotland's Trade Union Centre; Skills Development Scotland; Further Education Colleges; and the Standards Council for Community Learning and Development in Scotland.
