Consultation Information - Learning Delivery NOS

Professional Standards in Learning Delivery are currently available and being used to underpin awards and qualifications in Scotland, England and Wales. Concerns were raised that, as these standards were developed independently, the ability to recognise and transfer skills across national borders would be difficult without a common framework.

It was agreed to develop an overarching set of meta standards, which would not replace existing professional standards but would articulate the common areas, and act as a foundation for any subsequent NOS based products in learning delivery. A further outcome of the project is the development of a qualifications map which will show learning delivery qualifications in the four nations and their level equivalences.
