Vision

Lifelong Learning UK (LLUK)'s specific and unique role is pivotal to enabling the skills supply system to increase in quality and capacity to meet challenges across the UK.

If the UK is to be world-class and is going to achieve the ambitions for its economy and for social cohesion, as laid out by the governments of the four nations, then it must have an excellent skills supply system.

The Rt. Hon. Alan Johnson MP, former Secretary of State for Education and Skills, said:

"We won't create world class skills in Britain without world-class trainers. This shines a spotlight on LLUK."

Thus, our vision is that:

the UK lifelong learning workforce will be the best in the world.
