New Labour Market Information for Scotland
25 June 2008
Lifelong Learning UK (LLUK) has recently produced three Labour Market Information (LMI) reports, looking at projected employers' skills needs in Scotland and the impact this may have on Scotland's learning providers. Three distinct reports have been produced, one giving a national overview of skill and labour market projections in Scotland, one focussing specifically on geographical regions in Scotland, and one which considers specific occupational projections for Scotland. These reports are intended to assist Scotland's learning providers in planning provision which meets the needs of employers in Scotland.
The reports have been guided by a Project Steering Group of LLUK employers and stakeholders, and use data from a number of authoritative sources including Futureskills Scotland, Scottish Enterprise and Sector Skills Councils.
