Community Learning and Development workforce survey - Scotland

In 2007 LLUK was funded by Learning Connections to investigate the profile of the community learning and development workforce in Scotland. This research was endorsed by the CLD Managers Group, Scotland; YouthLink Scotland; Learning Link Scotland and the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO).

The survey was distributed throughout the sector, to both public sector and third sector organisations. Information was gathered on 16,556 individuals including data on age, gender, ethnicity and levels of qualification of the workforce. The report outlines the findings and explores the implications for workforce development.
