A Guide for Learning Providers
Lifelong Learning UK has facilitated the development of Implementing the Workforce Strategy: A Guide for Learning Providers. The guide is designed to support sector employers in their own workforce planning and development by:
- providing sources of information and help in implementing the strategy in the workplace, and
- providing information about how to become involved in national projects that will take the strategy forward.
The provider guide gives the background and context for the strategy as well as setting out information about national projects and activities that support the implementation of the strategy. The guide gives details of the different initiatives being co-ordinated by national partners and contact information so that employers can find out about or become involved in these projects and activities.
The guide, as published, is a snapshot of the support national partners are providing at the time of publication. Lifelong Learning UK is developing an interactive online version, available later in 2009, where partners will be reviewing, updating and adding to their list of projects and activities on a regular basis. Partner websites, whose links are given in the provider guide, will provide further details.
