Sector employers
The strategy covers the whole workforce of the sector. As such it is applicable to all employees in:
- further education colleges
- sixth form colleges
- specialist colleges
- publicly funded work based learning providers
- local authority or voluntary and community sector learning providers (also known as adult and community learning providers), and
- offender learning providers.
The strategy was written with a focus on Learning and Skills Council funded colleges and learning providers but it is hoped that the issues and themes raised will be of relevance to the wider FE sector.
