Family learning

Lifelong Learning UK (LLUK) represents all employers, stakeholders and staff working in family learning.

Family learning aims 'to provide and promote learning within an intergenerational family, or kinship network context by supporting families, or kinship networks, in taking the opportunity to recognise rights and assume responsibilities in relation to each other, and as citizens of the wider community, through the process and outcomes of learning.'

This text has been taken from the "Common core" occupational and functional mapping, issued by the former National Training Organisation for Community Learning and Development (PAULO) in 2004, which is available by clicking on the link.
