Welcome to Lifelong Learning UK (LLUK) in the South East.
The lifelong learning workforce in the South East is estimated to consist of at least 119,695 staff. (This figure does not include those working in work based learning, parts of the community learning and development sector or volunteers and is based on standard industry classification codes.) Included in this figure are staff working in:
- 24 higher education institutions
- 82 further education providers
- 135 work based learning providers
- 29 local authority adult and community learning providers and
- approximately 6,789 staff working in libraries, archives and information services.
