I represent a lifelong learning employer or organisation
Lifelong Learning UK (LLUK) is the independent employer-led sector skills council for community learning and development, further education, higher education, libraries, archives and information services, and work based learning.
LLUK provides the strategic perspective for workforce planning and development across the four UK nations, develops standards for those working in lifelong learning and is the voice of employers in this sector on skills issues.
For further information about LLUK or about any of the topics listed below, please click on the appropriate link.
Latest news about developments in your part of the sector, as well as information about events and projects relevant to your organisation, is available in the nations or areas of work pages and can also be filtered by a combination of your organisation's nation and area of work.
Information is also available about LLUK's standards and qualifications, research and equality and diversity work, and has also been categorised according to four other user groups.
Lifelong learning organisations may also be interested in the work of our subsidiary organisation, Standards Verification UK, which is responsible for verifying initial teacher training and also cover other forms of workforce training and development.
For free specialist advice on all aspects of employment in the lifelong learning sector, including the continuing professional development of your staff and how the reform of initial teacher/tutor/trainer education affects your organisation, please contact the LLUK Information and Advice Service, which is staffed by experienced practitioners and teacher trainers, and includes the National Reference Point for Skills for Life Professional Development. You can telephone us on 0300 303 1877 or email us.
For other enquiries, please contact your local office or the appropriate project manager.
